Capital Metro relaunch their website
Capital Metro have relaunched their website and are seeking feedback.
From their social media team to ACT Light Rail:
Good afternoon,
As an important stakeholder of the Capital Metro project, we would like to let you know that we launching a refreshed project website tomorrow at midday. The site can be accessed at the same address www.capitalmetro.act.gov.au and for those of you on Twitter we are @CapMetroACT.
Community and stakeholder engagement is a critical part of the Capital Metro project and we are keen to meet and discuss our progress with you.
The Communication and Engagement team are responsible for ensuring that you are provided with timely, easy to access information on the project. The team is a first point of contact for stakeholders and will be more than happy to help. If you are interested in regular project updates, please register through the 'Contact us' page on the website.
Help shape the future of light rail in Canberra
At key times in the project delivery, we will seek your ideas on how to
deliver the best possible light rail system. Consultation periods will be
established where there are genuine opportunities for you to contribute to
our planning. We understand that your time is incredibly valuable and we
will not waste it. The final report from the Light Rail Integration study
consultation held late last year will be published on the website soon. The
consultation has been invaluable and will inform the design process that
will start soon with the appointment of the project's Technical Advisors.
How would you like to receive our updates?
Please let us know if you have a preferred way to receive information, we
are happy to cater to individual or group needs. For example, would you be
interested in being part of a community external advisory/reference group?
We are planning to establish advisory groups to help guide our project
delivery and to support our communication efforts.
Do you use social media?
During the new website launch, we will be using Twitter and encouraging
others to follow us and 'retweet' to help raise awareness of Capital Metro.
Please let us know, if you would like to receive a Twitter pack to support
raising awareness through your social media networks.
We are at the early stages of this project and we want to make sure we start
in the right way. Please don't hesitate to give us a call, even if it's just
to say hi.
Best wishes,
Ben, Sophie and Kim
